Logging in with a CAC into AKO/DKO Webmail

Make sure your CAC is registered with your AKO/DKO account information before trying to log in. If you need information on how to register your CAC, please visit the How to Register a CAC page.

Logging into AKO/DKO Webmail with your CAC
To Register a new AKO account follow these steps:

  1. Visit https://www.us.army.mil
  2. Find and click on the “CAC Login” button
  3. Select your ID certificate. This certificate can be identified by using your CAC username. This information must be presented as “LAST.FIRST.MI.XXXXX” where “XXXXX” represents your CAC’s EDIPI.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Enter your CAC PIN.
  6. The system will now validate your ID certificate and log you into the AKO/DKO portal. From there you will have access to all the AKO/DKO features including Webmail.
