AKO Webmail Login

To access AKO Webmail on the Droid, follow this step by step guide.

  1. Launch the Mail App
  2. Select Add Account
  3. Select Manual setup
  4. Enter the IMAP SERVER information (incoming: imap.us.army.mil)
  5. Select SSL from the security drop down menu (All Certs)
    * The port number will be assigned automatically and ACCEPT or CONTINUE when asked
  6. Enter the STMP information (outgoing: mailrouter.us.army.mil)
  7. Select SSL from the security dropdown menu
    * The port number will be assigned automatically and ACCEPT or CONTINUE when asked
  8. Click Finished
  9. The final information should look something like this:
    Incoming: imap.us.army.mil secure port 993 (Port number automatically assigned) ssl, all certs
    Outgoing: us.army.mil secure port 465 (Port number automatically assigned) ssl, all certs
    and on user name leave off the @us.army.mil, it should look like john.doe. NOT john.doe@us.army.mil
